hi, thank you for sharing --somehow, I am not sure if number 3 is adapted to all the autistic kids families. parents are therapist...but how many families can afford the intensive therapy not covered by health insurance..in Switzerland the ABA therapy is 4000 frs a months at least. average salary is 5000 frs in Geneva. we have 2 kids both of them are on spectrum. the first one we were cheated by the local government...made the early diagnosis by 2 government medical institutes.. but none of them provide anything therapy...later , the our gifted verbal autism kid at age 4 placed in a segregation special school - he had complete meltdown within 3 years with nonverbal autistic kids ..beaten by his other 11 low functioning schoolmates is a daily routine...i could write one book to tell you the whole story..........but , our 2nd son is lucky. since we learned the wrong system in this awful country...our 2nd son we did everything at home with him..he had correct intervention at home with us....we already pay around 5000 frs monthly for our first son. we can not financially coverage all the expensive therapy fees for our 2nd son...therefore, we did the correct intervention for our 2nd son at home most of by me...the housebased home therapy..from training sensory integration climbing stairs let him focus on one thing when moving his body...now he is study in mainstream school ..his will have different future than my first son. we are still working to increase all the abilities for our first son. my conclusion is ...if you live outside of the country with early intervention system under public health system like HONG KONG....YOU could maybe try to settle in Taiwan if you are a Chinese native speaker your husband. and, the resource of autistic people in tw is around 40 years advanced if compare to Switzerland....early diagnosis is for early intervention. but since there is no early intervention system in some rich countries like ch or HK ...It is absolutely worth it to settle somewhere could let the kids having the best therapy before 3 years old....in Taiwan the slogan is

My older son is concerned because he has touretts and very low spectrum my youngest has it little bit worse that my oldest he has touretts tics bad and he is low spectrum, only thing different is my youngest did same things as my grandson when he was baby.
